A different kind of dinner invitation
We've always thought of food as a way to bring people together.
We've created lots of events over the years including farm tours, volunteer work days, concerts, pot-lucks, workshops, farmer office hours and so much more.
These events have helped strengthen the connection between you and the farm and us farmers.
This year, we’re trying something new!
An opportunity for all of you wonderful supporters of our farm to connect with each other in a real, human way.
On Thursday, April 23 at 6pm, we're inviting you to sit down with 5 other community members for a dinner at a restaurant in Dover.
Why Dover? It’s home to our newest CSA pickup location and favorite specialty food shop (Garrison City Provisions) and it’s relatively central to all of the communities we serve.
The date and time are firm.
The specific restaurant will be chosen based on your quiz responses and revealed the morning of the 23rd.
And your dinner companions will remain a mystery until you arrive.
A little spontaneous, but maybe not a big ask from a community built around picking up a pre-packed bin of veggies and flowers each week.
We're inviting everyone in our orbit to take part in this event including past and present CSA members, seedling customers and those who follow along from a distance via our newsletter and social media pages.
The common themes being an appreciation for food and an openness to sharing a meal and conversation with human neighbors in real life.
This is a new idea for us, and maybe it is for you too! There's lot of answers to all of your questions on the event page (including a plus one, what's included and not included, dietary restrictions, etc.).
If you're in, simply take a couple of minutes to register and save the date!
